About Us

Our founder, Jennifer Hodge, certainly knows the depths of pain from the addiction epidemic. As a single mother, she struggled to help her son who had voiced he wanted to attend a rehab facility but they did not have the funding for this. It was through the generosity of a stranger who offered to donate funding for him to attend the rehab at the age of 15. It was in his rehab that he expressed to her that, “No person should ever want help and be constrained simply because they didn’t have money to attend rehab.” Tragically, Robbie passed at the age of 23 but Jennifer remained persistent that his memory be carried on. Fueled by his memory, Jennifer channels her grief into an unwavering resolve. She stands resolute that no parent will endure this type of anguish because of unmet support or resources.

Today, Robbie’s legacy transcends his earthly presence as his visionary concept thrives and lives on in Realty 4 Recovery.

Driving Change Together

Realty 4 Recovery believes in the power of collective action. By uniting individuals, communities, and resources, we aim to create a ripple effect of change, fostering hope and recovery in the face of opioid addiction through opioid prevention programs.

Behind Our Cause

Our motivation stems from a tragic loss. When Jennifer Bryant Hodge lost her nephew-in-law and son to addiction, she transformed her grief into action. Jennifer's son, Robbie, had been struggling with addiction when he suddenly collapsed from an overdose. His loss catalyzed the formation of Realty 4 Recovery.

Our Founding Story

In 2014, Jennifer founded Realty 4 Recovery, a grassroots project that connects real estate clients with realtors who have agreed to donate 33 percent of their commission to addiction recovery efforts. This initiative was personal. Robbie had developed an addiction to OxyContin when he was prescribed it after surgery at 16, and paying for long-term treatment was a challenge.

Our Recognition

Since its inception, Realty 4 Recovery has won local, national, and international recognition for its innovative approach to saving lives through real estate.

Robbie's Legacy

Robbie's legacy lives on through Realty 4 Recovery and his sisters, Ashleigh and Lauren. Both of whom are advocates for fighting addiction. Ashleigh moderates a Facebook group, Sibling Support for Overdose & Addiction, and Lauren is beginning to speak publicly about the crisis.

We invite you to join us in our mission to make a tangible difference in the fight against opioid addiction. Your support can create a ripple effect of change, fostering hope and recovery for those affected.
